We are now seeking a self-motivated and resourceful Education Consultant to join our team.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:
- Assist in administering International Student Program
- Coordinate with program officers of universities to ensure accurate information for each student group and work closely with universities when student has any issues
- Collect information and feedback from both instructors and students to evaluate and improve curriculum and training programs
- Meet and advise students collectively and individually on possible training and academic supports for students’ further education in Canada or abroad
- Ensure students receive adequate training and services to meet their needs
- Prepare and create periodic and special reports regarding the International Student Program
- Analyze program policies and procedures of student sector and make necessary changes and improvement to ensure a smooth cooperation
- Administer and analyze particular testing and assessment related to the International Student Program, such as conducting student online survey after their leaving and feedback on D&J’s extra curriculum and activities
- Make recommendation for improvements of curriculum and extracurricular programs based on results of survey and feedback
- Oversee and coordinate other administrative procedures to ensure high quality service is provided to the international student groups by evaluating and implementing new procedures.
- Perform other duties as required by management
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
- Previous experience in the education-related industries is an asset
- Analytical and adept at decision making
- Oriented toward service
- Empathetic and sociable and able to offer solutions and connect with students, teachers etc.
- Skilled in identifying problems and brainstorming potential solutions
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with other team members
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends.
- Ability to develop cooperative and constructive working relationships
Job Title: Education Consultant
Weekly working hours: 30 hours/week
Annual Salary: CAD 65000
Work Location: Unit 5015-4000 No.3 Road, Richmond BC, V6X 0J8 Canada
