Duties will include:

- Handling all sales transactions, with accurate billing to customer accounts and daily balancing of cash receipts, and providing timely sales reports
- Ensuring adequate stock is maintained and purchasing stock as required
- Coordinating store displays, advertising and promotions
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries; this involves use of forklift
- Maintaining a clean and orderly store and warehouse
- Providing back-up reception support

**Requirements**:

- Completion of high school or equivalent, with university degree or college diploma preferred.
- Related retail store experience.
- Agricultural background is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills with a good command of spoken and written English.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software systems and data entry; _Great Plains _experience an asset.
- Good knowledge of effective merchandise presentation and displays.
- Possess Pesticide Dispenser Certificate and Veterinary Drug Dispensers Certificate or must acquire within 3 months of commencing employment.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. (23kg).
- Ability to operate forklift and other commonly used warehouse equipment.
