Afternoon Shift Production Worker

Exceldor’s poultry processing facility in **Hanover, Ontario** is seeking **production workers** to join their afternoon shift. These are entry-level positions that involve fast-paced, repetitive production line work. No prior experience required. Job-specific training will be provided. The salary for these positions starts at $18.67 per hour and increases to $20.74 per hour after six months. There is also a Weekly Attendance Incentive Program: an additional $1.25 per hour will be paid on regularly scheduled hours, to a maximum of 40 hours per week, if an employee works all scheduled hours for a given week. Afternoon Shift Production Workers also qualify for an afternoon shift premium of $0.60 per hour.

- You will be assigned to work in different areas of the department performing a variety of production-related activities ;
- Duties will depend on production demands, but may include stuffing turkeys, producing roasts, packing, and working on the cut-up line ;
- Must maintain good manufacturing practices as related to hygiene, allergen handling, food handling, and temperature control ;
- Other duties as required.
**Required qualifications**:
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position ;
- Strong attention to detail ;
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment ;
- History of excellent attendance at work ;
- Understanding of food safety (training to be provided) ;
