**Summary**

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook to join our team at Sleepy Snuggles Childcare Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs of young children, contributing to their health and well-being in a supportive childcare environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children in accordance with dietary guidelines.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen at all times.
- Plan menus that accommodate various dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist in meal service and ensure a pleasant dining experience for children.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, including proper food storage practices.
- Collaborate with childcare staff to understand children's nutritional needs and preferences.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to prepare healthy meals suitable for young children.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and children.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
