Pt Houseperson

We’re looking for a dependable **Houseperson** to keep our hotel clean, welcoming, and guest-ready. If you’re hands-on, organized, and enjoy working independently, this role is for you

**PRIMARY FUNCTIONS**

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the Houseperson position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas. They move quickly and organize their tasks according to business volumes to ensure that the hotel always looks its best.
hey are passionate about serving others and working as a team with associates from all departments. Ensuring all guest areas are cleaned and maintained to the standards set by the hotel using the correct cleaning techniques and cleaning agents.

**What You’ll Do (includes but is not limited to)**:

- Keep lobbies, lounges, elevators, and washrooms spotless
- Assist room attendants with heavy lifting & room stripping
- Deliver linens, supplies, and set up cots/cribs when requested
- Collect, sort, and distribute linens daily
- Respond quickly to guest requests

**What You Bring**:

- Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience (hotel experience an asset)
- Strong time management & organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet for long periods
- Fluent English communication skills

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

The work environment is a hotel setting, which has the following conditions: medium-high noise environment; high traffic area for internal guests, exposure to moving parts and equipment such as vacuum, steam cleaner, washer, and dryer. Potential exposure to theft and/or belligerent guests. Exposure to chemicals. Frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment. Exposure to sharps and biohazards.
