**About your next** Challenge** as a **CF-18 Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician**:
Inspect CF-18 structures and components according to pre-established inspection procedures using various NDT testing methods:

- Liquid Penetrant;
- Eddy Current;
- Magnetic Particle;
- X-Ray; and
- Ultrasound.

**What You Will Do**:

- Document non-conformities according to established procedures;
- Draft and complete inspection reports and Work Orders accurately;
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and discipline as detailed in CFTOs;
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled aircraft NDT inspections and report results to Supervisor;
- Conduct NDT inspections for non-air purposes as detailed by Supervisor;
- Act as a team member, providing assistance to other crew members as required;
- Perform regular inspection and maintenance of shop equipment, ensuring serviceability;
- Observe and adhere to all safety regulations in the performance of duties, ensuring absolute compliance of radiation safety policies and procedures;
- Maintain shop cleanliness, in compliance with safety regulations;
- Assist in initiating technical and administrative reports as required;
- Forward supply requirements to section supply coordinator in a timely fashion, ensuring stock levels are maintained;
- Be conversant with CFTOs and other technical information pertaining to NDT inspection procedures;
- Maintain necessary NDT qualifications.

**Required Skills and Experiences**:

- College diploma in aeronautics or equivalent;
- Minimum 6 years' experience on the CF-18 aircraft;
- Very good knowledge of CF-18 structure and drawings;
- CGSB (Canadian Government Specification Board) certification.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada **“Reliability”** status and/or **Level 2 (Secret)** security clearance;
- For on-site positions, our location not accessible by public transport, car/carpooling required
