**Employment: Part-time (8 - 25 Hours/Week)**

**Salary: $30.00 - 33.65 per hour**
In order to meet an increased demand for training, **Worksite Safety Compliance Centre **is expanding its instructor-led training team, primarily for the CPO-Approved Working at Heights program. If you are a knowledgeable and experienced health and safety instructor who is passionate about construction safety education and keeping workers safe, this role is for you
This part-time position reports to the Manager, Instructor-Led Training and will deliver training at Worksite’s London, Ontario, training centre based on a monthly schedule. Hours will be approximately 8 - 25 per week (1 to 3 classes) and will typically be scheduled on weekends, evenings and occasionally during the week if available.
As a Health & Safety Instructor your **key responsibilities** are:
- Delivering engaging and informative Working at Heights training to job seekers, the general public and new and current members of the construction industry
- Evaluating participants through practical skills and written evaluation
- Organizing, filing and submitting digital and hard copy participant records following training
- Sanitizing/disinfecting training room & equipment following training
- Participating in team meetings and instructor development workshops
- 3+ years’ experience delivering training
- Background in construction management and/or occupational health & safety preferred
- Strong interest educating people on the importance and value of health & safety training
- Training experience in Confined Space and/or First Aid would be considered an asset
- Bilingual language skills (English/French) would also be an asset
- Self-starter who is able to work independently, while also contributing to a team
- Strong presentation and adult-engagement skills
- Valid Ontario’s Driver Licence - occasional travel by car for work
- Reside and able to legally work in Canada
