**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Cement Dispatcher, manages all cement drivers and organizes all deliveries on a daily basis. This position would be based in Harley, Ontario (Between Brantford and Woodstock). **Must be willing to work flexible hours.**

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Oversee cement deliveries each day
- Provide exceptional customer service in regards to orders and/or concerns
- Direct the pickup and delivery activities of orders with an objective of the most timely and efficient service possible
- Provide accurate directions for pickup and delivery services
- Oversee inventory levels at various locations
- Coordinate with third party providers to optimize resources
- Other activities as requested by management

**QUALIFICATIONS**

An effective Cement Dispatcher must have the following:

- Reliable and highly motivated
- Safety conscious
- Detail oriented
- Minimum 2 years’ experience, preferably in a similar field
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (written and oral)
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to resolve conflicts with the utmost respect
- Strong knowledge of the timing required for transport truck travel in the area
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently in high pressure situations
- ** Will be required to be “on call” Monday-Friday evenings and some Saturdays**
