Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a Production Planner/Analyst for a permanent full-time.

Reporting to the Production Director, the Production Planner/Analyst will ensure coordination between the Supply Chain team and the Production Supervisors in order to organize the daily work of the operational teams. She/he will have to plan detailed daily schedules in order to optimize productivity while taking into account the constraints imposed (availability of equipment, materials, personnel, etc.).

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Workplace: 9200, Côte-de-Liesse Road, Montreal, Quebec (mainly on site, given the operational nature of the role).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
- Prepare daily production plans (hour-by-hour plans for each line).
- Find creative and innovative solutions to meet production targets, taking into account constraints, challenges and unforeseen events.
- Make material preparation requests to the warehouse via the ERP system.
- Check the availability of components and, in the event of problems (layovers, deliveries, etc.), contact the parties involved.
- Interact with the master planner to ensure that required deadlines are met.
- Manage product data, assign routings to new products, and correct values in the system for existing products.
- Perform performance analyses (yield, losses, etc.).
- Replace supervisor during absences.

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Operations Management.
- 2 or more years' experience in a similar role (industrial / manufacturing environment a strong asset).
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and the Office suite, comfortable with computerized production systems / ERP (JD Edwards - a strong asset).
- Mastery of LEAN processes and philosophy (Kanban, takt time, pull system, etc.).
