As we expand, we are looking for an experienced, organized, and hardworking Civil Pipe Layer to work in our civil division. This position is considered full-time and a permanent position.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Install, maintain, and repair underground services on a multitude of different projects as per MMCD specifications and project drawings.
- Installation of manholes, catch basins, DVCA Chambers and multiple other precast concrete products.
- Operating of equipment to prepare areas for pipe installation
- Preform backfilling and compaction of trenches.
- Projects that you will be involved with will include excavation and backfill of excavations, civil construction, demolition, stripping and grading.
- It will be your responsibility to take care of the equipment including daily maintenance and inspections.
- It will be your responsibility to follow Lubec Construction safety procedures for all different types of work.
- Applicant will be asked to assist other staff throughout the day pending on the project that may involve labor work
- Willing to work in other areas other than Victoria, Langford and Saanich is a requirement.
- Ability to operate Leica Survey equipment is an asset.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Ability to work according to deadlines and as a team player.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
- You must have a valid class 5 drivers license and transportation to and from work.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in similar role is required.
- Reading and understanding project drawings is an asset
- Willing to learn.

**PERKS WITH LUBEC**:

- Hourly pay rate of $30 - $37.50 depending on experience.
- 2 Weeks Vacation Yearly
- Work hours 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday - Friday with occasional overtime
