**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and maintain landscape projects - hardscape and softscape.
- Perform some maintenance tasks such as pruning, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing plants.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Plan and execute irrigation schedules to ensure optimal water supply for plants.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall appearance of landscapes.
- Educate clients or the public about plant care, landscape design, and sustainable practices.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in landscape installation.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to gardening and landscaping tasks.
- Knowledge of plant species, their care requirements, and environmental needs, including turfgrass.
- Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics in landscape design.
- A degree or certification in horticulture or a related field is mandatory (third year apprentices or horticulture students may be considered).
- 5 years driving experience, preferably with light duty trucks and trailers and clean abstract are mandatory.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $23.65-$25.10 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 55 per week

- Class 5 Licence (required)
- Pesticide Applicator License (preferred)
- Class 3 License (preferred)
