The TIS function consists of the following areas:
Service Management & TechHub: The Service Management team are responsible for IT Governance across Major Incident Management, Problem and Change Management for Technology. The global service desk and local desktop support teams manage over 300K contacts from employees annually and provide IT support to employees in every Fidelity office around the globe.
Delivery Support: This area consists of 35 Project & Programme Managers, Scrum Masters and a PMO who manage change within TIS. They also support the three pillars with change activities (ISS, WPFH and CE).
Enterprise Network & Data Centre Services: ENS provide the underlying global network connectivity that support Fidelity doing business e.g offices, Data Centres, the internet and Cloud using software defined WAN (SDWAN) Technology.
Collaboration Technology: The team are responsible for the development, engineering, maintenance and support of Technology which Fidelity staff use every day to be productive. Enterprise Services include desktop estate, core collaboration platforms, audio visual and identity and security (Active Directory).
Data Services: This area is responsible for the engineering, support and consultancy for all structured and unstructured Data Services, Data Visualisation and Virtualisation platforms. The team also provide tooling to support the movement of data across the organisation.
ChatBot, PaaSOps & CloudOps: These teams are driving change within the organisation looking for opportunities to challenge, improve & enable Fidelity to realise the full benefits of adopting agile development practises through optimal use of the FIL Clouds.
Platform Services, Bridge & Infrastructure Strategy: The Platform Services team take care of engineering, supporting and assisting programmes on iSeries, UNIX, Storage, Backup, Virtualisation and Shuttle build service. The Bridge supports our major platforms on a 24x7 basis. The I
