Working as a member of the team in collaboration with Staff and Reviewers at the Firm, the Supervisor assists clients in preparing tax returns, conducting research and providing recommendations based on clients’ unique needs, priorities and objectives. This position also involves mentorship of junior staff as well as preparation of year-end financial statements (Notice to Readers, Reviews and Audits).

The Supervisor role within the firm is above Senior Staff Accountant and for those looking to become Manager in the future.

**Responsibilities**
- Independently plan and execute audit and review engagements for small to medium-sized clients with mínimal supervision.
- Prepare Personal and Corporate Tax Returns
- Working knowledge of ASPE and IFRS, Generally Accepted Auditing and Review Standards.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and supporting working papers
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and regularly monitor deadline budgets.
- Communicate/meet with client prior to the engagement to determine expectations for the year-end
- Training and supervision of junior staff on technical issues
- Monitor deadlines to ensure they are met, and information is obtained from the client well in advance of the deadline
- Drafting of bills for clients
- Takes on increasingly more complex work

**Skills and Experience**
- Pursuing or completion of the Canadian CPA designation
- Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a public accounting practice
- Strong Tax, Audit, and Accounting knowledge
- Ability to carry an audit or review engagement from beginning to end
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships
- Organizational skills for prioritizing demands, workflow and meeting deadlines
- Must have a strong commitment to quality
- Solid understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
