We are seeking a reliable and hardworking moving assistant to join our team. As a staging/moving assistant, you will be responsible for helping with the process of moving from one location to another. As a Moving Assistant, you will have a variety of responsibilities, including packing and unpacking items, loading, and unloading trucks, cleaning and organizing, assisting the staging assistant with placing accessories, hanging art and mirrors, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the move.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with packing and unpacking belongings, including fragile items
- Load and unload moving trucks or vans, ensuring that items are properly secured and organized.
- As a Moving Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting stagers with accessories and hanging art and frames.
- Provide excellent customer service and interact with clients to answer questions and address concerns throughout the moving process
- Perform physical labor, including lifting items and maneuvering furniture through tight spaces
- Ability to drive trucks (up to 26 feet with G license) is an advantage.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent injury or damage to items.
- Assist with other tasks as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is required. (Must have)
- G license and personal car ( Must have)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including heavy lifting.
- Flexible hours (depending on the booking)
- Availability on Saturday is an advantage
- Basic computer skill
- Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Hours are based on the jobs. It can be anywhere from 20 to 45 hours per week. Some late time finishes are expected based on the schedule.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M1S 5A4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
