**Here’s the job opportunity**

As Manager, Regulatory Compliance you will be responsible for the oversight of corporate and regulatory compliance through the contribution and implementation of the Code of Conduct, Mandatory Compliance Training, Fair Treatment of Customers, and Privacy obligations. The Regulatory Compliance Manager is also the liaison for Cybersecurity, Unclaimed Property, AODA, CASL, and the Business Continuity Plan. In this role as Manager, Regulatory Compliance you will:

- Manage the Business Conduct and Ethics policy
- Design and implement a Conflict-of-Interest questionnaire certification
- Report to Privacy Commissioners and Regulatory bodies
- Develop a strategy for and manage annual compliance training programs including Privacy, Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing
- Draft and create new training modules, quizzes, and related launch communications, ensuring training modules are current, valid and continuously improved
- Work with Learning and Development to update and launch employee training
- Provide reporting on completion of training for Board reports
- Provide coaching and mentorship to Privacy Impact Assessment Specialist
- Document and update policies, procedures, and frameworks related to Fair Treatment of Customers (FTC)
- Regularly monitor and assess compliance with industry guidelines and standards
- Analyze and handle all privacy incidents reported to ivari’s Privacy Office
- Advise management, business units, Business Unit Compliance Liaisons (BUCL), and distributors on risks and requirements of Privacy, FTC, Cyber Security, Unclaimed Property, AODA, and CASL’s regulatory changes
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and advise management and business units on risks and requirements
- Participate in the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA) and other regulatory conferences, committees, and working groups

**What we are looking for**
- 10+ years compliance experience within Financial Services with increasing responsibilities in the areas of regulatory compliance including Privacy and Fair Treatment of Customers
- Knowledgeable in Life Insurance products, features, and distribution channels
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Extremely organized and able to manage a variety of compliance portfolios efficiently
- Proven leadership and strong collaboration is required
- University degree or college diploma in a related field
- Courses related to privacy, FTC, Code of Conduct is an asset
- Additional experience in life insurance operations, sales and/or marketing would be beneficial
- Insurance industry designations for privacy, cybersecurity, FTC is an asset
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset
