**Job Summary**

The Stores Clerk works under the direction of the Parts Manager and receives aircraft parts and consumables and distributes them to applicable jobs and personnel.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Receives aircraft parts and consumables in a timely manner
- Establish accounts and relationships with aircraft supply vendors for the repair of aircraft parts.
- Liaise with PRM for purchase approvals.
- Participate in annual inventory count at any base as required.
- Report regularly to Stores Manager regarding procurement status.
- Issues and designates, for shipment, aircraft parts and consumables to applicable jobs and personnel
- Liase with departmental personnel for required tools and parts
- Monitors consumable stock levels and re-orders when necessary
- Foster a healthy working environment and promote a positive climate within the workplace.
- Perform and uphold Wasaya’s Customer Care Commitments to both internal and external customers.
- Any other related duties as assigned

**Minimum Skills and Qualifications**
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in rotables environment, preferably in the aviation or automotive industry.
- 1 years’ experience working with database and spreadsheet programs.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Able to maintain filing systems and basic databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous record and database maintenance skills
- Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Able to work in a team environment, as well as unsupervised.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
- The ability to communicate in Oji-Cree or Ojibway is an asset.
- Experience with and/or knowledge of First Nations Organizations is an asset.

**Working Conditions**
- Travel may be required.
- Weekend and evening work may be required.

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to lift or move up to 20lbs.
- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
