**Summary of Position**
At SUNRISE KITCHENS, our people are our greatest assets. We require an individual to join our excellent team in our state-of-the-art facility as a 5 Ton/Vehicle Operator for our delivery team. Our company has a brand new, updated fleet, including 30 vehicles. As a part of the Logistics Team, you will ensure day to day productivity is maintained and operations are uninterrupted. You will work with the delivery and shipping team to ensure finished goods are ready to be transported on the trucks and to clients. Job entails handling finished goods on trucks and off loading at our customers, driving 5-ton trucks and trailers, and helping with required tasks in Delivery Department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

In this position, you will be responsible for the following:

- Responsible for driving in a safe and timely manner
- Deliver order at builder construction sites in a safe and professional manner without damage to property or product
- Exhibit teamwork and organizational skills on-site and while expediting product
- Performing the pre-trip check up on the Truck
- Ensure all work performed adheres to company policies and regulations, codes and specifications
- Regular cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle
- Load trucks with cabinets efficiently while avoiding any damages to the product
- Unload the trucks at the job site and store product in the designated units in an organized manner, while avoiding damages to the product or property
- Practice Kaizen mindfulness by attending all Kaizen team meetings in the department

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Valid class 1 BC Driver License with a clean driving record
- Must have at least 3 years of Class 1 driving experience
- Must be able to lift 75+ lbs and load & unload cabinets
- Demonstrated communication skills in English (read/write/speak)
- Good customer service skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team driven environment
- Problem solver and identify solutions

Shift: Day 7:30am - 4:00pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Experience**:

- Class 1 driving: 1 year (preferred)
- warehouse/ loading and unloading: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1 drivers license with a clean driving record (required)
