Cooks, Cleaners, Night Staff

We are currently seeking **Cooks, Day Shift, Evening Shift and Night Shift** employees to join our team.

Our staff plays a critical role within our facility, as they impact the lives, wellneing and connection for our community.

All positions are Part Time, and require felixibility in scheduling.

**As a member of our team you will be responsible for**:

- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our residents.
- Working independently.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Have valid Food Safe Certification, reliable transportation, fluent english, a Criminal record check including the vulnerable section.

**Cook Expectations**:

- Abilityto prepare hearty home cooked meals, deserts and snacks according to produciton sheets, recipes and other menu documents as supplied.
- Ability to set up equipment and supplies for food preparation.
- Providing for prescribed diets, at appropariate temperatures and in portion controlled quantities.
- Monitoring quality of food suplies received, and advising the team leader of problems in a timely fashion, with an ability to provide reccomendations about corrective actions.
- In the absence of the team leader, assumes responsibility for departmental opernations including menu changes as necessary, rquisitions and purchases food and other supplies from authorized suppliers.

**Day/Evening/Night Shift Expectations**:

- Support the cooking staff by preparing baked goods, cleaning in the kitchen area, assisting with food preparation as directed by the cooking staff.
- Ensure the common area's of the building are cleaned daily.
- Interact in a positive manner with residents at appropriate times.
- Monitor the building during the night, ensuring that all residents are safe at all times.

St. Michaels Haven is a Non-Profit Assisted Living Facility located in Cudworth, SK.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
