Job Title**:Metal Fabricator - Jack of All Trades**

We are a small, dynamic metal fabrication shop specializing in high-mix, low-volume production. Our team takes pride in tackling challenging projects with a focus on quality and precision. With capabilities that include laser cutting, forming, welding, and more, we are known for our versatility and willingness to take on complex jobs. We are looking for a skilled and adaptable **Metal Fabricator** to join our team and help drive our business forward.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Welding**: Perform MIG, TIG, and/or laser welding on a variety of metals, ensuring clean, strong, and precise welds.
- **Fitting**: Accurately read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to assemble and fit components to specifications.
- **Laser Cutting**: Operate and maintain industrial laser cutting machines (e.g., Bodor 6kW, Trumpf 2kw) to produce high-quality parts.
- **Forming**: Set up and operate press brakes and other forming equipment to fabricate parts to required tolerances.
- Inspect parts for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with tight tolerances and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in alignment with shop policies and safety standards.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in a metal fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in welding (MIG and TIG required; laser welding experience is a plus).
- Skilled in operating industrial laser cutting machines and press brakes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a high-mix, low-volume production environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Additional pay:
