Curling Ice Maker/ Facility Operator

The Moose Jaw Events Centre and the Moose Jaw Curling Centre is in search of an experienced Curling Ice Maker/Facility Operator to join our team
The Moose Jaw Curling Centre is a state of the art 8 sheet curling facility within the Moose Jaw Events Centre featuring a large lobby, locker rooms and home to the Original 16 Founders Lounge overlooking the ice surface. The Curling Ice Maker is responsible for the installation and maintenance of the curling ice and providing high quality curling ice for all the daily leagues, club bonspiels, special events and competitions. This includes, but is not limited to surface preparation for game play, painting and sponsor logo install as well as proper rock conditioning and maintenance.
Event conversions, conference set up and tear down and general building maintenance will be the primary duties while working with the operations team during the curling off season.
Frequent evening and weekend work are required to execute, support and supervise scheduled events and activities throughout the season so flexibility is key
