**MATERIALS MANAGER**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Materials Manager to join our team. As a Materials Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the tracking and management of materials needed for our operations. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our supply chain.

**Key Responsibilities and Functions**:

- Ability to utilize various warehouse management systems to manage inventory movements and monitor stock accuracy
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies or inefficiencies
- Implement best practices for inventory control, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and obsolescence management
- Analyze data to forecast demand, track inventory levels, and identify trends or issues
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure availability of materials as per schedule
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory records, forecast material needs and timely order fulfillment
- Monitor supply chain performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of materials

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Materials or Inventory Manager or similar role
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong organizational skills are a necessity.
- Must be self-sufficient, and able to work with little-to-no direct supervision.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other inventory management software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in data collection and analysis using various tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol test to work on site.

**Work Conditions**:

- May be required to operate a fleet vehicle for business purposes.
- Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching on a daily basis.
- Work is performed indoors and out-of-doors, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards.
- Some travel to various sites may be required.
