Precise ParkLink (West) Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Parking Lot Patroller to join our team. As part of our team, you will work in a friendly and open environment with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace. Your primary responsibility this position will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing all parking control devices/equipment, installing signage and other general maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet, welcome, and assist customers with professionalism, addressing any questions or inquiries they may have.
- Effectively and efficiently handle customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up with the customer.
- Inform and advise guests, students, and staff about the products and services offered.
- Support customers in their use and navigation of parking facilities and the campus.
- Utilize parking software to patrol parking sites, demonstrating comfort and proficiency with technology. Assist with equipment repairs and sign installations.
- Patrol and enforce parking regulations in various facilities and sites.
- Perform litter pickup and maintain overall cleanliness of lots and parking equipment.
- Learn and understand internal processes and protocols, completing minor paperwork as required.
- Maintain clean work areas and vehicles, following safety procedures when working with other employees and the public.
- Perform miscellaneous laboring activities, along with machine repairs as needed.
- Maintains daily logs, reports and related documentation as required.
- Landscaping experience would be considered an asset.

**Requirements**:

- Shifts: Wednesday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of customer service experience.
- Ability to write simple correspondence, including memos and letters.
- Proficiency in following written, verbal, and diagram instructions.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain and organize filing systems and basic databases.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of working well independently as well as within a team-oriented environment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles.

**Additional Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in parking services or a related field is an asset.
- First Aid and CPR certification would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of parking management software or systems is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
- Strong customer focus and a passion for providing exceptional service.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
- Driving: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Personal Insurance (5 year history) (preferred)

Work Location: In person
