Remember When Homecare Ltd. is actively seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team of healthcare professionals. With decades of combined experience, our Care Coordinators and Directors will be working diligently alongside you to ensure the proper supports are in place to be effective at delivering consistent and reliable services on schedule.

You would play an integral role in the service delivery of critical homecare supports for Nova Scotians who rely on Remember When Homecare Ltd. to maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle. Effectively scheduling appropriate caregivers to clients in their respective regions, you will ensure positive homecare experiences for our clients and their families.

Our Scheduling Coordinator will be driven to help others by balancing the pressures of multiple regional schedules while maintaining an empathetic and compassionate mindset.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Use scheduling software effectively to fulfill clients’ care plans
- Communicate and provide caregivers with accurate schedules on a monthly basis
- Ensure caregivers are scheduled effectively and efficiently
- Communicate, in a timely manner, with clients and families when schedule challenges arise, and problem-solve effectively to fulfill shifts using alternative dates/times
- Maintain accurate records of care provider availability and ensure continuity of care whenever possible
- Maintain and prioritize positive relationships with caregivers, clients, and their families
- Communicate with management and care team on missed client visits
- Liaise with Care Coordinators to share client and caregiver feedback
- Resolve or escalate, as required, client concerns and/or issues
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and/or phone calls, both external and internal
- Enter all critical and relevant information into the system for appropriate follow-up and documentation record keeping

**Qualifications**:

- Must have customer service experience and/or relatable service delivery experience
- Must have good computer skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
- Demonstrate exceptional communication, using professional etiquette
- Be able to remain composed in stressful situations
- Combine strong interpersonal skills with problem-solving abilities
- Be self-directed as to manage time and priorities effectively
- Homecare knowledge or a homecare background will be considered an asset

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Scheduling: 2 years (required)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
