Student Information System Manager

**JOB PURPOSE**

Under the direction of the Assistant-Superintendent, the Manager of SIS is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Division’s student information system while working in partnership with the schools’ academic leadership and support staff. The Manager is responsible for oversight and daily monitoring of the student information system, including but not limited to data entry in Power School and complying with provincial reporting to the Education Information System (EIS) of Manitoba Education.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A Degree in Information Technology, Business, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired.
- Demonstrates a “servant leadership” demeanour with the ability to establish effective customer relationships with internal and external stakeholders including all staff.
- Preferred knowledge/experience with:

- Various student information software (Power School, Maplewood etc.)
- SQL database knowledge and expertise using Oracle
- Demonstrated web development skills with Java Script, jQuery, Angular JS, HTML and CSS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) an Google (docs, sheets, forms, drives).
- Must possess a valid driver’s licence.

**Salary**: $81,000.00-$94,348.00 per year
