Essence Cabinets is a growing cabinet manufacturing company that is located in southwest Edmonton, our team is made up of a close-knit group of individuals who strive for excellence.

**Service Technician Responsibilities**:

- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Tie workflow to schedule, complete the scope of work during assigned hours
- Manage all onsite installation, repair, maintenance and tasks in the service order paper work
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Review the scope of work with closure coordinator before going to site
- Operate vehicle in a safely manner
- Follow all company’s procedures, processes, and checklists
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Communicate with other technicians, customer service rep, project managers, and site personnel
- Be able to complete the service work 100% and get sign offs
- Work shifts may vary from standard business hours. Occasional weekend work and extended evening hours is required
- **Functions**:

- Crown, valances, and moldings
- Toe kicks installation
- On-site repairs, adjustments, or replacements
- Laminate counter tops if required (including scribing)
- Sink & electrical cut outs if required
- Accessories such as lift up hardware mechanism
- Panels / overlays
- Touch-ups

**Qualifications:Compensation**:We thank all applicants, however only those being considered will be contacted.
- Three years’ experience in kitchen installation and service work
- Three years’ experience in trim molding installation
- Experience in cabinet building and design
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and navigate stairs
- Ability to read and understand installation elevations and blueprints
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Fluent English in reading, writing, and communication
- Demonstrate an enthusiastic attitude with ability to explain procedures and solve on site problems
- Knowledge and use of small to medium sized power tools. Including, but not limited to: miter saws, table saws, drills, grinders, vacuums, cutting tools, etc.
- Security clearance is required for retail installations
- Must have strong work ethic
- Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a drivers abstract upon request
- Wages paid at an hourly rate based on experience
- Health and dental benefit coverage after probation period

Pay: $23.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
