Food Service Worker at Nomad YQT (Thunder Bay Airport)

Nomad is currently looking for a part-time Retail Food Service Worker to join our team Come join us at the Thunder Bay Airport

We are looking for someone with flexible availability that can be available to work early morning shifts (for example: 3:15am to 9am) as well as a variety of other shifts within our operating hours (Anytime between 3:15am and 8:00pm). We are able to offer 15-25 hours per week with an opportunity for additional hours based on performance.

**Compensation Overview**:

- $16-17/hr. Wage ($20-$22 w/ Tip Pool)
- Tips/Tip Pool (Additional $3-$5/hr.)

→ Work in an individual environment & able to work early morning shifts

→ Maintain exceptional customer service skills

→ Have strong interpersonal skills

→ Effectively ensure café is stocked and cleaned at all times

→ Communicate confidently and effectively with customers & staff

→ Have good product knowledge and awareness

→ Ability to maintain a clean working area and café

→ Ability to lift 50 lbs.

**Job Prerequisites**:
→ Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate (“In Good Hands”)

→ Valid Smart Serve Ontario

→ Experience with cash handling and P.O.S. systems an asset

→ Regular access to a vehicle or transportation required (Or any other mode of transportation outside hours of public transit hours)

→ Valid Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (R.A.I.C.) (We will work to get you this, should you not have one)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-25 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
