**Description**:
**ABOUT THE ROLE**-
**WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH**Perform minor truck and equipment maintenance.
- Check grades to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct pre and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain clean job sites by performing shoveling, raking, sweeping, and other general labor duties.
- Operate equipment as needed.
- Spotting and flagging.
- Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
- Operate equipment as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

**Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent
**Required Work Experience**: Experience in checking grades
**Required Training/Certifications**: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. G Endorsement is an asset.
**Required Technical Skills**: Knowledge of construction and Experience hauling trailers is an asset
**Travel Requirements**: Knowledge of the City of Saskatoon and surrounding area**Additional Requirements**:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
- Proven ability to follow safe work procedures and complete field risk assessments.
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
