**CNC Programming Coordinator (Sheet Metal, Punch, Press Brakes)**

- As a member of the Production Team, this position is responsible for the creation, maintenance and support of all computers numerically controlled (CNC) programs for sheet metal lasers, press brakes and punch equipment in the department.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Reviews new and revised engineering drawings and designs to create or modify CNC programs for all CNC equipment.
- Updates set up sheets for the operation of the Machine Shop.
- Works with employees in the department to assist in developing improved programs based on requirements.
- Work with departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, and Planning to initiate process improvements relating to CNC programs.
- Creates Production parts programs using New Flyer programming software while ensuring KPI outputs are met.
- Creates Project parts programs for nonstandard work orders.
- Develops new and improved methods to maximize program and machine efficiency.
- Assist in determining future CNC shop floor equipment and programming software.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- 3-5 years' experience in CNC programming.
- Experience in Sheet Metal fabrication, including CNC laser equipment and programs.
- Experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office, SmartCam, MasterCam, Radan, VGP 3D and TOPS 100 and 400 software.
- Ability to thrive within a fast paced, manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and remotely support other manufacturing plants.
