**Homecare and Nanny**

The ideal Nanny to work with our family; they must have tons of energy, be very thoughtful and full of kindness, loves to play, a nurturing person, trustworthy, attention to detail, organized, responsible and safe. We are a married gay couple (two men), twin 7-year-old boys, two small friendly dogs. Our home is in South Delta, Tsawwassen (On transit route and free parking).

A long term, full time, live out position.

COMPENSATION:

- $20 - $22/hour (dependant on job performance)

Annual salary, $37,000 to $46,000/year
- 32 - 40 hours/week - Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend/evening work
- iPhone for job purposes
- Health trust benefits plan, after probationary period
- Prepaid Compass (transit) card or monthly vehicle allowance - for to/from work

ROLE:
Below are the high-level job duties:

- Supporting our family, by helping care for our home and twin boys.
- Assisting us to raise confident, fun, healthy children.
- Sharing and implementing our child raising values
- Stimulating our Childrens’ minds and bodies
- Encourage appropriative behavior and positive discipling.
- Firm and fun
- Walk to pick up boys from school
- Walk dogs.
- Daily cleaning and sanitizing of house.
- Monthly deep clean of house
- Light yard work
- Laundry
- Food prep for family
- Recycling and garbage prep
- General household and family assistance

SKILLS/TRAITS NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE:

- Organizational skills
- First aid for children
- Cooking and cleaning skills
- Independent and Trustworthy
- Activity supervision
- Leading arts and crafts activities and educational play
- Participate in play and physical activities.
- Attention to detail to ensure house is always clean.
- Must sign a Confidentiality and Conduct Agreement
- Must have all current vaccines and/or flu shots, as recommended by BC Health Ministry
- Must be living in Canada already.

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Delta, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
