Plumber

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations during all work performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience in welding techniques for pipe joining when necessary.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus for integrated projects.
- Ability to plumb various fixtures including sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
- Skills in assembling components for plumbing systems efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 41.5 per week
