**_Position Summary: _**
Reporting to the Director of Materials Management, the Stores Team Lead is responsible for providing direction, instructions and guidance to the Stores - Materials Management team for the purpose of providing uninterrupted supply chain for medical surgical supplies to care providers.

**_Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities: _**
- Minimum 3 years recent Stores or Warehousing experience including shipping/receiving, storing, picking, inventory location moves, etc.
- Experience with computerized inventory materials management systems and handheld barcode technology
- Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (E.D.I.) and understanding of general procurement principals
- Thorough working knowledge of all Stores or Warehouse job routines, policies and procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Intermediate level computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and recent working knowledge of Meditech and Webmail
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy to conduct cycle counts and oversee cycle count program to ensure inventory is accurately maintained
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high volume, results oriented environment
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in order to establish work priorities and coordinate work and inventory flow
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written along with the ability to provide staff training and to act as a liaison with other hospital departments
- Proven independent decision making and critical thinking skills to perform detailed analytic analyses, identify problems and recommend as well as implement solutions for process improvement
- Ability to function effectively as part of a team with demonstrated success in working well with various groups to provide excellent customer service for both internal hospital clients as well as external vendors, suppliers and sales representatives
- Ability to resolve a variety of work-related issues, as well as prepare and submit progress and other reports as required
- Ability to participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives such as Lean Processes
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, and adjust to changes in a fast-paced, varied work routine
- Physical ability to lift, stoop, bend, and push
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service in all interactions

**Salary**: $25.55-$26.04 per hour
