**General Job Description**:
This position reports to the TPS Supervisor and will work with all members of the TG Minto team. The TPS Specialist will assist with all TPS Launch and Kaizen activity. Flexible work hours will be necessary. There is a six month probation period for this position.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Creating and maintaining:

- Kanban (set-up, injection, paint, FG, etc)
- Visual Controls (labels, dandori instructions, signs, pegboards, etc)
- Injection/Paint Packaging Instructions
- WIP Container counts
- Support New Launch Trials
- Support in Kaizen Shop as required
- Assist in layout changes
- Assist other TPS members as required
- Ensures 5S conditions are maintained in all assigned areas

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Grade 12 Secondary School Graduation Diploma
- Excellent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel & Word
- Excellent working knowledge of TPS principles
- Must have an excellent attendance record
- Must demonstrate a regard for company policy
- Must have strong performance in current role
- Must be able to work in a self-directed manner
- Ability to multitask
- Mechanically inclined
- Education level will be considered

**Education or Experience**:

- High school diploma
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
