**Hours of Work**:25 hours per week - evenings and weekend availability - as determined by the needs of the program

Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Community Programs, the Training and Development Assistant is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and upkeep of the Learning Management System (LMS) which will be used to distribute information regarding gender-based violence to outside organizations.

The Training & Development Assistant will work collaboratively with the other Community Programs and the YWCA Regina, Director of Training and Development to contribute to a positive workplace culture. The role is responsible for ensuring that LMS works effectively and efficiently, and will work within the guidelines, policies, and mission of the agency. The role of the Training and Development Assistant may vary based on the needs of the community and program growth and may also include specific projects as assigned.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement, manage, and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accessibility and effectiveness
- Upload, organize, and update training materials, resources, and course content related to gender-based violence
- Support external partners and users in accessing and navigating the LMS
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT support or LMS vendors as necessary
- Collect and analyze usage data to inform program improvements and reporting
- Assist in the creation of multimedia content, presentations, and training modules
- Work closely with Community Programs staff and the Director of Training and Development on project planning and delivery
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions
- Support additional training or community initiatives as needed

**Qualifications**:
**Education & Experience**:

- Two-year post-secondary diploma in a related field and/or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience using **Canva** or similar digital design tools to create and adapt engaging training materials.
- Familiarity with gender-based violence issues and trauma-informed approaches is an asset.

- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong time-management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy and comfort with digital tools and platforms.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of Indigenous cultures and commitment to promoting cultural safety.
- Flexibility to work outside standard office hours when required.

Pay: $17.50-$18.38 per hour
