**How You’ll Make a Difference**:
The quality assurance manager is **responsible for implementing systems and processes that ensure the delivery of optimum quality services. **In addition to supporting the delivery of consistent high-quality services, they help to ensure compliance with regulations, and standards, recommending improvements where necessary. They help design and enforce quality controls to maintain company standards. They also help communicate expectations to employees and provide coaching and corrective action when needed.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee all quality assurance activities and will develop, implement, and maintain a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s services.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**_: _**Responsible for supervising the Services Analyst.

**What You Bring**:

- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that services meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
- Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for services.
- Communicates quality standards and parameters to teams and staff.
- Coordinates service testing processes.
- Supports and oversees preparation for third-party accreditation, licensing, and/or other external regulatory processes that are required or chosen by the organization.
- Identifies analyzes issues defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur across services/divisions recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
- Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
- Maintains compliance with standards, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
- Design, implement, and improve company quality standards.
- Analyze data in order to find areas for growth.
- Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met.
- Create reports to track progress.
- Formulate strategies to increase productivity.
- Review processes in order to ensure that they align with current trends.
- Review the organization’s process to ensure whether they align with the current policies
- Formulate timely reports and documentation to track progress
- Identify the training requirements to meet the quality standards
- Develop and monitor corrective measures
- Make documentation of internal audits and quality assurance activities
- Plan, conduct, and monitor services to ensure their quality
- Analyze the data to find the areas for improvement
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**What You Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, or field related to the services being developed required.
- Having relevant experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing is an added advantage
- Ample experience in implementing corrective/preventive measures
- Quality assurance knowledge of tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with third-party accreditation processes, such as ISO, CARF, COA or Accreditation Canada.
- Certification programs in Six Sigma, Quality Improvement associate, quality auditor.
- Technical proficiency must be able to use computers and generate reports.
- Ability to analyze data and create and review processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions and metrics.
- Eye for details.

**ISSofBC Value Proposition**:

- Role Salary Range**:$37.52 - $44.85**:

- Expected Starting Range**: $37.52 - $ 39.82 per hour. **Dependent on education, training, experience, and internal equity.
- Regular full-time position at 35 hours per week
- 105 hours of vacation and 35 hours of personal leave
- Extended health and dental benefits
- Employer matched RRSP with contributions up to 5%
- Hybrid work opportunity
