**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Supervise and care for children
- Help children with homework

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in caregiving roles such as senior care, assisted living, nursing home, or hospice care is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus.
- Ability to work with individuals with disabilities and provide compassionate support.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on client location and transportation needs.

French and Arabic

Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years

Wage: 20 CAD/hours

Minimum: 30 hours per week
