**Top Gun Feeders Inc.** (a division of Titan Livestock Group of Companies), located in Moose Jaw, SK, is currently looking for an experienced energetic individual to fill the position of Farm (feedlot) Manager located at our Feedlot in Moose Jaw, SK. (Hwy 2, 9km south of Moose Jaw).

If you are the successful applicant, you will be a strong leader with critical thinking skills and a positive attitude. You will look for ways to continuously improve and have initiative and drive to get the job done.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the receiving, monitoring, testing and reporting of feed and commodities.
- Monitor and manage cattle health and welfare procedures.
- Manage occupational health and safety procedures.
- Maintain budget and meet financial goals.
- Review margins and medical expenses, complete reconciliations.
- Ensure security of all assets including land, livestock produce and inventories.
- Leads by example and facilitates team energy and enthusiasm.
- Shows employees recognition; mentors and encourages others to identify and achieve goals.
- Directs the work of employees and participates in employee recruitment, selection, performance, and retention.
- Oversee feedlot staff and day to day operations.
- Oversee and assist with yard maintenance including repairing slab fences, wire fences, and pipe fences, maintenance and repair of feed bunks and water bowls, clean-up of yard, pens, roads, buildings, and fields.
- Other duties/projects as required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a feedlot/farm, handling cattle, managing people and projects.
- Post-secondary education and/or Associates degree in animal science or agribusiness an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, highly organized and able to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop and lead a diverse team.
- Able to hold people accountable, drive performance through regular communication and feedback.
- Self-motivated with initiative and drive to complete projects.
- Able to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Treats people with respect; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.
- Accepts responsibility for own actions and follows through on commitments.
- Physically fit and able to push, pull, lift up to 50+ lbs and to bend and kneel with comfort.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
- Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing, oral).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
