Proposal / Technical Writer

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead our Request for Proposal (RFP) response writing process from production to delivery including the coordination and preparation of proposal submissions and soliciting input from colleagues, where required
- Effective research strategies to identify appropriate RFPs to pursue
- Comprehensively reviewing the RFP so as to become familiar with the content and requirements contained
- Assist in maintaining the core proposal content database and project profiles database
- Liaise with external support and other stakeholders to coordinate and develop proposal content

- A mastery of Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication, copywriting and editing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills that create a positive work environment and gain the trust of your colleagues
- Are a self-starter and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to create visuals that assist in communicating your message
- Strong, proven organization and project management skills
- Legal authority to work in Canada
- Experience in communication and project management is considered an asset

**Experience**
- 3 to 5 years’ proven experience in writing communications or marketing
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma or equivalent in English, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing or similar, relevant field
- Master communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to work equally well with members of the executive team and general staff alike, including vendors, business partners, team members and co-workers
- Results driven with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment; while delivering on multiple, concurrent initiatives
