Edmonton, Canada MMC Corporate Full time

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career Communications team at Mercer Canada**.** This role can be based in Toronto, Ottawa, or Edmonton, and it is a hybrid role with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

**We will count on you to**:

- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) for both teams
- Coach team members on Agile practices and principles, promoting self-organization and accountability
- Identify and remove impediments that may hinder the teams' progress
- Foster collaboration within and between teams to enhance efficiency and shared learning
- Act as a liaison between the teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals
- Monitor team progress using metrics and feedback, maintaining visibility of work through tools like burndown charts
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to reflect on their processes and outcomes
- Assist in scaling Agile practices across the organization and share best practices

**What you need to have**:

- ** Certification**: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- ** Experience**: 1-3 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of successfully supporting Agile teams
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remove obstacles effectively

**What makes you stand out?**
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, ADO, confluence, Mural)
- Certified Scrum Master in scaled Agile Framework (e.g., SAFE) or any other scrum certification
- Knowledge of scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
- Experience supporting multiple teams in a fast-paced environment
