**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate concrete pump truck and coordinate with site personnel to ensure safe and efficient concrete placement.
- Set up and break down pump equipment, hoses, and boom arms following safety and manufacturer guidelines.
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on the pump truck to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatcher, site supervisors, and concrete suppliers to manage timing and logistics.
- Maintain accurate job records and daily logs as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pump operation or equipment malfunctions.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Clean and wash pump truck and components after each use to prevent buildup and ensure longevity of equipment.
**Qualifications**:
- Valid Ontario Class DZ driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating a concrete pump truck.
- Knowledge of safe concrete pumping practices and job site safety regulations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel to various job sites as required.
**Working Conditions**:
- Outdoor construction environment with exposure to weather, dust, noise, and heavy equipment.
- Variable hours depending on project needs and weather conditions.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour
