Closed all major holidays. The Deli Clerk is responsible for providing friendly and prompt customer service in a fast paced environment. Antipastos is a specialty Food store providing customers with a wide selection of Imported, Domestic and In House prepared Food items. Antipastos' Deli offers a large selection of deli meats, fresh meats, cheeses and antipasti items.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Providing responsive, exceptional service to deli counter customers by answering questions, making recommendations, providing samples, and responding to requests.
- Slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing meats and cheeses.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
- Ensuring that work areas are ready to service customers by stocking, sanitizing, and cleaning, equipment and work areas.
- Maintaining all aspects of safe Food Handling Policies and Procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with business policies, procedures, and Standards of Operation.
- Fostering a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. Catharines, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
