**Marpole Containers (part of Regional Recycling) is a busy bottle recycling depot looking for enthusiastic staff to help keep our planet green**

We are a high-volume commercial recycling facility located in Vancouver, BC. We are looking for a bottle sorter / can crusher to add to our team.

Are you:

- Physically fit and able to lift up-to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Comfortable using android tablets?
- Enjoy operating various equipment?
- Able to work as part of a team and independently when needed?
- Problem solve and show initiative

If so, then you may be the right fit for our team.

Primary Duties (Not Limited To)
- Operation of a Can Densor and tipper to crush large volumes of aluminum cans
- Stacking crushed cans and strapping securely for transport
- Cleaning of machine frequently.
- Sorting through empty beverage containers and keeping count on an android tablet.
- Using a power walker and pallet jack to move skids around warehouse
- As skills develop further training for additional tasks will be provided.

Daytime shift Monday to Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm (Can be flexible once fully trained)

Benefits include extended health, paid vacation, paid overtime

**Previous work experience in warehouse a bonus, but not required. We will train the right person.**

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour
