Server/bartender

The Corner House Bistro, an award winning fine dining restaurant and Georgina’s premier Fine Dining destination is looking for you We are open from **Wednesday to Sunday at 5:00 pm. Typical start time is 5:00 pm.**We are currently seeking **EXPERIENCED** mature applicants to fill the positions of **Permanent P/T Waiter/Waitress** with Bartending experience.

**Must be able to work Weekends. Must be available to work special days like Valentines, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve. These holiday dates typical start time is 4:00 pm. We will not hire without this availability**

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and mixology techniques is a plus. Some Wine Knowledge is preferred. Must be able to uncork a wine bottle.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Must have a good memory to recite Feature Dishes & Desserts
- Excellent communication skills to effectively take orders and interact with customers and colleagues
- Must be able to work in a Team
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

**Duties include but not limited to**:

- Greet customers and take their drink & food orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails & martinis
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Upsell and promote drink specials or menu items
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service
- Must have a good memory to recite Feature Dishes and Desserts.

Knowledge of wine is a bonus but will train. Other Duties include but not limited to serving, making drinks, resetting dining room, opening and closing duties, stocking and cleaning. We are a fine dining restaurant therefore each course you will need to reset customers with all new cutlery. Must be able to carry dishes with some weight and drink trays.

Please note that this job may require standing for long periods of time
