Distribution Analyst - Post and Fill

Are you looking for a role where you can resolve issues and able to contribute to the team success? Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will complete capital and process related change management projects focused on technical analysis of all production operations at the automated Durham RSC.

If you are experienced in automated industrial or warehouse operations with a mechanical background, then this is the role for you

About the Role
- Continuous improvement, reporting, Labor Management studies; new processes implementation and identify RCA to problems
- Develop solutions to effect service level improvements (quality & up-time) and cost efficiency in areas such as process reliability, Time & Motion studies, and equipment performance studies.
- Productivity & labor management of SOP’s and OCM inclusive of team member on-the-job training.
- Collaborate with health & safety, procurement, operations, facility maintenance, IT systems and follow LEAN/Agile end-to-end project coordination methodologies supporting due diligence
- Collaborate with procurement in development different procurement documents (RFQ, RFP, RFT)
- Cost benefit analysis (Return on investment) and collaborate with contracted or prospective external equipment/service providers
- Oversee contractor and supplier compliance and performance and maintain the Durham Asset Management program

About You
- Post-secondary school education in engineering or management science degree or advanced diploma or equivalent
- Experience in drafting, CAD/CAM and OEM mechanical/electrical as built drawings.
- Experience in technical change management projects in an industrial automated environment (preferably automated warehouse operation) and in a bargaining unit environment
- An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office which includes Excel - can perform complex functions, Access, Word & Outlook and Power BI
- Excellent, developed verbal and written communication skills
- Experience performing organizational and procedural analysis
- Ability to prepare technical summaries and financial evaluations
- Sound knowledge of logistics practices; warehouse fundamentals and inventory management
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and ISO & CSA standards relevant to industrial sites
