**Investment Associate (Temporary, Full-time)**

**Duration**:Approximately 12 months

**Location**:Peterborough, ON

**Hours**:40 hours per week; Monday to Saturday

**Rate of Pay**:Dependent on experience

**As an Investment Associate, you will**:

- Actively promote, sell and deliver all investment products and services
- Contribute towards the growth of the investment portfolio by attaining individual goals and objectives on an annual basis.
- Assist with the development of business opportunities to establish a profitable investment portfolio within the corporate objectives of the credit union.
- Identify and generate sales opportunities; cross sell all Credit Union products and services and participate in sales programs, and initiatives to attain individual, branch and organizational goals.
- Monitor the renewal of maturing investments, ensuring that members receive appropriate notice, advising them of alternative options and assisting them with renewals. In a similar nature, contact members when the aforementioned products have not been renewed or will be transferred out, to discuss options with them.
- Complete appropriate documentation accurately in order to process and key in transactions and update records.
- Complete Mutual Fund licensing requirements within six months of start date. Followed by or in conjunction with all internal training requirements applicable to Mutual Fund Sales.

**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education with emphasis in financial planning or management would be preferred
- Minimum of three years of financial services industry experience
- Two years of sales, service and investment administration and/or sales experience
- Working towards Mutual Funds License
- Advanced member service and sales skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
