Byers Pools & Hot Tubs is a family owned and operated business located in Hanover, ON. We believe that providing superior customer service comes naturally when you enjoy your work and take pride in the work you do. We are looking for a service technician to join our family team.

**Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Perform maintenance and necessary repairs on Pools & Hot Tubs
- Assist in hot tub moves/deliveries
- Service including pool openings, closings, weekly maintenance and service calls
- Repairs to existing pools including liners, plumbing, replacement of components, leak detection

**Knowledge, skills, abilities, and qualifications recommended**:

- Ability to work as a member of a team or independently
- Strong problem solving, organizational skills
- Plumbing experience
- Some electrical knowledge
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems/error codes
- Attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to perform physical work outside in a variety of weather conditions
- Able to lift heavy objects

**Other Requirements**:

- Steel-toed safety boots
- G Class Drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- Own set of basic tools

**Assets**:

- Experience in the pool or hot tub industry
- Experience driving with a trailer
- Experience with forklifts

This is a Seasonal Full time Job (estimated duration is mid April to mid November), we offer **competitive pay based on experience**, training and a fun work environment.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Shifts are usually 8 hours but hours can run longer or shorter

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
