**POSITION OVERVIEW**

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare and modify electrical drawings, including single-line and multiple-line diagrams, using AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN.
- Develop detailed drawings for enclosures and control panels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to gather necessary information and ensure drawings meet project requirements.
- Review and verify drawings for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain and update drawing files and documentation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of drafting standards and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior drafters as needed.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS**

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Associate's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+years) as an Electrical Drafter or similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles, electrical equipment and apparatus, national electric codes and drafting standards.
- Ability to create and interpret single-line and multiple-line diagrams.
- Experience with enclosure and control panel drawing preparation.
- Familiarity with electrical and industrial equipment (medium and low voltage), industry standards and regulations if preferred.

**SYSTEMS & SKILLS**
- Certification in AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to take initiative, with effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive space

**LOCATION**

Innoversa has office space in Concord, Ontario. We offer hybrid employment that supports a blend of in-office and remote work (minimum 3 days in office). With this role, there may be travel within North America.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Working conditions are normal for a professional office environment.
- Working in customers laboratory and field activities are include in this role and when working in a field or lab environment, protective personal equipment or additional safety training may be required.
- The role may require the ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions. Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and bend is required.
- The role requires some overnight local and regional travel including once or twice per month job sites visits for project work with customers.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
