**Job Function Overview**

Dump trailer body preparation for paint. Painting various bodies, and parts dump as per customer's specifications. This also includes masking, paint preparation.

**Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Manufacturing Expectation**:

- Use of a variety hand and pneumatic tools for preparation of dump truck bodies, and trailers for paint.
- Paint formulation and mixing.
- Ability to be fit tested yearly.
- Operate overhead cranes up to 5 tons.
- Operate forklift.
- Ensure fit, finish and function to meet customer requirements and expectations.
- Perform inspection of your own work.
- Complete Quality Inspection Documentation as required.
- Work effectively and efficiently to complete your work within the job standard.
- Follow all company rules, policies and procedures at all times. (time clock, breaks, lunches, smoking etc.)
- Maintain good housekeeping in work areas throughout and at end of shift.
- Contribute to cost reduction ideas and continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other duties, as required.

**Major Requirements and Competencies**:

- At least 3 years’ experience with the use of painting equipment (preferred).
- Able to read drawings work instructions and blueprints.
- Ability to be certified in forklifts and cranes operations.
