CareKW is a healthcare company that helps to support individuals in a community environment. We provide PSW and Nursing support services in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Hamilton, Brantford, London and surrounding rural areas.

Position: Scheduling Coordinator

Location: Kitchener, ON

The coordinator plays an important role in working with the CareKW team. They help build care providers schedules to ensure our clients needs are met. If you have awareness and the ability to be receptive to the needs of those we support with compassion and an understanding to provide the best service possible, please apply

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborates with the Office team and PSW team to understand staffing baseline requirements in order to build, modify and maintain PSWs schedules, review and input shift changes
- Have an awareness of and be receptive to the needs of those we support with compassion and an understanding to provide the best service possible.
- Demonstrate a strong capacity to problem solve and work through difficult situations professionally and tactfully
- Identifies and communicates opportunities to improve operational efficiency
- Participates in and supports projects as needed
- Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors

**Qualifications**:

- Experience and proficiency using computer software is mandatory
- Recent comparable experience required in building, and modifying employees’ schedules
- Effective communication, organizational, time management, collaboration and problem solving skills required
- Excellent attention to detail is required
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment required
- Good attendance record

Expected start date: ASAP
