**PART-TIME SALES ASSOCIATE**:

- Start Date: Immediate
- Location: Le Carrefour Laval
- Hours / Week: ~20 hours/ week
- Shift: Weekday and Weekend

**Joshua Perets** is looking for:

- 1-3 part-time Sales Associates

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Provide efficient and courteous service to customers in order to maximize sales and promote the company’s image of quality and expertise.

**POSITION**

Reports directly to the Store Manager. Represents an essential part of the store team and takes part in creating a healthy and enjoyable atmosphere.

**KEY JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Maximize sales and customer service
- Dealing with customer concerns and complaints
- Uphold merchandise displays
- Handling payments/record all transactions on cash register
- Complete necessary housekeeping duties
- Helping with special promotions

**DUTIES PERFORMED**
- Engages in professional salesmanship in order to achieve maximum sales and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Promotes warm and welcoming customer service in every transaction.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and well-stocked merchandise area.
- Greet customers, answer questions, offer assistance, suggest items, lend opinions, and provide product information.
- Ensures that products are properly tagged and attractively displayed.
- Develops and retains product knowledge of the merchandise.
- Awareness of and implements store policies and procedures.
- Is responsible to follow all loss prevention and security policies, as well as credit policies and procedures (i.e. credit and debit cards, employee purchases, discounts, returns, and exchanges.)
- Complies with the company’s dress code and presents an image that is coherent with the company standard.
- Maintains covid health regulations (wearing a mask, disinfecting the cash area & floors )

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Related work experience**:1 year** of selling experience minimum (retail or service industry)
- General work experience or equivalent formal education: high school or equivalent
- Other qualifications: excellent communication skills, service-oriented, collaborative team player, fashion-oriented, bilingualism is required, willing to work retail, and have flexible hours.
