We are currently seeking a Loader Operator / Maintenance Technician who take on the responsibilities of managing our yard operations as well as overseeing machine shop maintenance. Responsibilities will include overseeing the efficient and safe operation of our loading equipment while managing the organization and logistics of our yard. You will also be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment in our machine shop to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate Forklift/Loader in a safe manner
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on CNC machines, lathes, mills, loaders, forklifts, compressors, and other equipment.
- Collaborate with production staff to prioritize repairs and minimize disruption to manufacturing schedules.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Create & maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Good work ethic & team work

**Experience**:

- Experience operating heavy machinery, particularly loaders and forklifts, in a yard or construction environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, customers, and vendors.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to equipment operation and yard management.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with maintenance in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
